Association of Banks of Georgia (hereinafter referred to as the Association) is a non-commercial organization. The Association acts in compliance with the laws of Georgia, internal legal norms and this Charter. The Association is a non-commercial legal entity, having an independent balance sheet and holding accounts with bank institutions.
"Association of Banks of Georgia" (ABG) was established in 1994 by the leading Commercial Banks of Georgia. The Members of the ABG are 18 commercial banks from 19 operated in Georgia and one micro finance organization:
